The Hindenburg disaster took place on Thursday, May 6, 1937, as the German passenger airship LZ 129 Hindenburg caught fire and was destroyed during its attempt to dock with its mooring mast at Naval Air Station Lakehurst, which is located adjacent to the borough of Lakehurst, New Jersey, United States. Of the 97 people on board (36 passengers and 61 crewmen), there were 35 fatalities (13 passengers and 22 crewmen). One worker on the ground was also killed, making a total of 36 dead. The disaster was the subject of spectacular newsreel coverage, photographs, and Herbert Morrison's recorded radio eyewitness reports from the landing field, which were broadcast the next day. A variety of hypotheses have been put forward for both the cause of ignition and the initial fuel for the ensuing fire. The incident shattered public confidence in the giant, passenger-carrying rigid airship and marked the end of the airship era. - http://s.pc-freak.net/url/325

Elder (Starets) Tadej Vitovishki explaining on the perpetual Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Lord's prayer importance for daily Christian living - http://s.pc-freak.net/url/323 Tateij Vitovnishki is among the few true spiritual enlightened people of our time who had achieved the gift of never ending prayer Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me the sinner. It is interesting that the Elder advises us to not worry about events in our life or what will happen as God will order averything in our life for our best. So the standard way of thinking we have that we need to work hard to buy apartments and cars and the never ending lust for money is something that will never give us rest or drive us closer to God, that's why the Elder says he doesn't worry about anything but just concentrates on prayer and believes God will provide him with everything needed. Amazing Elder, let him pray for us the sinners!

Feodor (Theodor) Ushakov has a significant meaning especially for us Bulgarians, because his most triumphant battle victory happened near Black Sea's cape Kaliakra (nowadays Bulgaria) during Russo-Turkish war (1787-1792). The Turkish were led by Hussein "Pascha". Contral Admiral Ushakov used a fantastic strategy to out beat the Turkish and Algerian ships which were significantly outnumbering Russians. No ships were lost from both sides but Turkish scared of loosing the battle fled to Constantinople (nowdays Istanbul).

Coptic Church has always been fascinating to me since the day I met my dear Coptic Christian brother Medhat Baky. Coptic Orthodox are interesting because they're so close to us Eastern Orthodox in both service singing iconography and general believes and undesrstandings in faith. I just stumbled on a very nice old movie showing a lot of "internals" from the kitchen of Coptic Orthodox Church, there are things which are fascinating because Coptic and Armenian church are among the most ancient Christian Churches - http://s.pc-freak.net/url/320 The Coptic Monasteries and Monks of the Egyptian Desert Coptic monasteries very much like Bulgarians are many and each have only a few monks. The faith in Coptic Communities is very strong because of the hostile environment they're forced to live (surrounded by Muslims). We modern Christian has a lot to learn from coptic in terms of indurance of faith. Every now and then a lot of Coptic Christians are being regularly martyred by Muslims making them the newest 21st century martyrs for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Just listened to Metallica's latest song "To Hell and Back" what can I say poor band is getting worser and worser as it is caught by satan's grip. For all those who might be enjoying metallica they should know metallica are nowadays openly satanists as the lyrics of hell and back confirm it.

Today is commemorial day of Allesandro Volta (who is considered to be the father of Electricity) and highly valued by scientiests all around the world for last 3 centuries. Allesandro was born on 18 February 1746 and died 5 March 1827 (aged 82). Because many modern scientiests argue against God and against the Church and maybe a lot would accuse Allesandro to being an atheists I considered worthy to include here his own answer to many accusations he had still in his time about his non-catholicism .... Volta's Religious Beliefs: Religious beliefs Volta was raised as a Catholic and for all of his life continued to maintain his belief.[13] Because he was not ordained a clergyman as his family expected, he was sometimes accused of being irreligious and some people have speculated about his possible unbelief, stressing that "he did not join the Church", or that he virtually "ignored the church's call".[15] Nevertheless, he cast out doubts in a declaration of faith in which he said: " I do not understand how anyone can doubt the sincerity and constancy of my attachment to the religion which I profess, the Roman, Catholic and Apostolic religion in which I was born and brought up, and of which I have always made confession, externally and internally... I have, indeed, and only too often, failed in the performance of those good works which are the mark of a Catholic Christian, and I have been guilty of many sins: but through the special mercy of God I have never, as far as I know, wavered in my faith. In this faith I recognise a pure gift of God, a supernatural grace ; but I have not neglected those human means which confirm belief, and overthrow the doubts which at times arise. I studied attentively the grounds and basis of religion, the works of apologists and assailants, the reasons for and against, and I can say that the result of such study is to clothe religion with such a degree of probability, even for the merely natural reason, that every spirit unperverted by sin and passion, every naturally noble spirit must love and accept it. May this confession which has been asked from me and which I willingly give, written and subscribed by my own hand, with authority to show it to whomsoever you will, for I am not ashamed of the Gospel, may it produce some good fruit."

The measurement of electricity Volt was named after this obviously Christian man. Volta was also the creator of first battery in history.
